Students will be taught how a home is wired from start to finish. In conjunction with learning these valuable wiring techniques, the National Electrical Code (NEC) is also taught.
Electricity deals with commercial and industrial electrical systems as well. As a student, you will learn such skills as electrical safety Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Blueprint Reading, Electrical Test Equipment, National Electrical Code Interpretation, Conduit Bending, Branch Circuit Wiring, AC/DC Fundamentals, Transformers, Generators, Motors, and working with Green Technology Systems. The electrical laboratory boasts a high-tech array of training equipment.
