Students from the Construction cluster of the Columbia-Montour Area Vocational-Technical School completed a 16’ long tiny house project during the 2017 and 2018 school years. This fully functional tiny house is equipped with all the amenities: shower, toilet, cooktop stove, kitchen sink, refrigerator, microwave, TV hookups and wall mount, and a sleeping loft which accommodates a full size mattress. Utility hookups allow for the conveniences afforded by water and electricity. The tiny house is securely mounted on a trailer for ease of transport. It was built by the Carpentry & Construction students, plumbed by students in Building Trades Maintenance, and wired by students in Electrical Occupations. The tiny house will be on display as part of the CSBA Home and Outdoor Show from Feb 23-25, 2018 at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds.
The Columbia-Montour is offering the tiny for sale through a sealed bid process. Interested parties should read the BID SPECIFICATIONS and download a BID SHEET below.
